Where is the network weak right now?

Open Network › Health risks. The strip counts what is not answering Cenovel, getting worse, single points of failure, path, uplink or circuit problems, hardware or power, software or support, and PoE near its budget. Choose a figure to filter both the map and the list.

Use the map

  1. The Network map starts at the district core. Choose a school, then a closet, to drill down; the trail above goes back up, and Escape steps out one level.
  2. Use Show to color it by Health, Software or Support.
  3. Inside a school, switch the Layer to Routing for its gateways, default routes and way up, read from the configuration backups.
  4. The ranked list beside the map is worst first; Show on a row finds it on the map, and each device opens its own page.

It is read-only and built from what Cenovel already reads. A device it could not check is marked not checked, never counted as down. Problems that only show across layers, such as a VLAN not carried on an uplink or spanning tree blocking the only path, are listed with their evidence.

The demo’s map covers three schools.
