Status states
The fixed product states under your district’s status names, and how Cenovel uses them.

The eight states
A district names its statuses however it likes. Each status carries one of these fixed states, and every part of Cenovel reads the state, never the name.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| In stock | On a storeroom shelf, ready for use. |
| In use | Deployed at a site. |
| In transit (signed out) | Checked out or on the move. |
| In repair | With the vendor or on the RMA board. |
| Pending disposal | Chosen for disposal, not yet gone. |
| Disposed | Gone; the record stays. |
| Lost | Cannot be found. |
| Retired | Out of service and kept. |
Finer distinctions
Where the product needs a finer distinction, a status also carries a substate: Ready to deploy, Awaiting configuration and Back from repair (all In stock), Repair case closed (Retired) and Sent for disposal (Pending disposal). A unit back from repair stays on the RMA board as completed until someone puts it away.
Try it
The lookup is the console’s own code. Rename any status: what Replace writes follows the state, never the wording.
Rules
- When a command needs a state, it uses that state’s default status, else the lowest-numbered one.
- If a district has no status in the state a command needs, the command is refused and says which state to set up in Settings › Statuses. It never falls back to another state.
- A status with no state is unmapped: it is reported in Settings › Statuses and drives no behavior.
